RECEPTIVITY :
A JOURNEY THROUGH THE FIVE KOSHAS OF THE BODY

RECEPTIVITY is a 5-day journey with Embodied Hatha Yoga to cultivate receptivity, presence and connection with the subtle rhythms of life through meditation, asana, pranayama & mantra. Each practice explores the art of allowing — softening the boundaries of body and mind so that prana, the vital life force, can flow freely (and as a result allowing us to feel more freedom in life). In these sessions, you are invited to attune to the sensations from within. Some of the poses will be held for a longer period of time to allow for more space to explore your inner experience. However, please remember to always listen to your body.

During the 5 sessions, we will move through the 5 layers of the body - 5 koshas of the body (physical, energy, mind, wisdom and bliss body). You can do the practice over the course of 5 days or spread them out in a way that works for you. â€‹

Prior to joining the sessions, you can prepare yourself by setting up your space.

You will need:
* a quiet space for yourself for 1h15min
* a mat to practice on
* Props (optional but useful if you have them)
* a cushion or a rolled blanket to sit on for your comfort
* yoga blocks if you have them at home. This can be useful for some of the longer holds but don't worry if you don't have them. I will give prop free options as well.
* A sacred space - you can set up a sacred space if you don't already have one. This might include lighting a candle, incense or adding a couple of items that help you feel more at home. You will receive a short guide on how to create your sacred space, which you can explore in your own time.
