I am Anna , originally from Poland but living in Ireland since 2005.

 

I am a yoga teacher, wellbeing coach and a menstrual cycle coach and facilitator  helping people with things related to anxiety, stress management, women's health, embodied practices and living a more sustainable and balanced life.

My interest is in cultivating connection in order to strengthen the felt sense of self, develop more self-awareness and more ability to respond to life consciously and sustainably while experiencing the joy of living.

MY STORY AND BACKGROUND

Themes: loneliness, disconnection, seeking meaning & understanding , creativity, self-expression

I was born in Poland and as a child I always sought connection through reading, writing and drawing. As a young adult I experienced loneliness and a sense of disconnection from the world and found it very challenging to connect with others.  This disconnection led me to explore various forms of self-expression : writing, drawing, photography and dancing. For as long as I can remember being able to express my feelings has always been incredibly important to me, which explains my keen interest in visual arts and performing arts over the years. 

In 2011, I met the philosophy of Nichiren Buddhism, which transformed my life forever. This philosophy has been my foundation ever since and allowed me to explore the myriad paths in my life and led me to where I am today.

YOGA & MEDITATION

Themes : anxiety, low self-esteem,  poor body image

In 2016, I encountered yoga and started practising it consistently alongside my Buddhist practise and my creative endeavours. 

Yoga from the very beginning had a magic impact on me. It helped me to curb my anxietyboosted my self-esteem and changed how I felt about my body

I started to feel more present in my own body and with time I noticed that  I began feeling more connected to my breath - something that I had never paid attention to in the past.  This connection with breath brought a whole new level of how I was experiencing my life.

 

My journey with yoga is ongoing. It is a journey of continuous self-discovery.

I trained as a yoga teacher in an ashram in the South of India, where I experienced the effects of yoga on all the levels of my being.  Since I took my training as a yoga teacher, I have been continuously learning both on my own and with some great teachers and educators. I take regular yoga classes with my teacher based in India exploring and deepening my understanding of the philosophy and science of yoga.

 

I have also received training in : pregnancy yoga, mum & baby yoga, hormone yoga therapy, trauma informed yoga, well woman yoga therapy. I am a certified Wellbeing Coach and a Menstrual Cycle Coach and Facilitator. With my wellbeing coaching offerings,  I bring all of my background together and adapt my approach to individual needs.  

My approach as a teacher and coach is holistic :  I look at the person as whole and create space to connect with the body, mind and soul alike.
