WHAT IS HORMONE YOGA THERAPY?

Hormone Yoga Therapy was designed Dinah Rodriguez, a Yoga Teacher and Dr. of Psychology from Brazil. She has done a lot of research on the effect of certain yoga practices on the endocrine system.

 

From these studies she developed a set of specific exercises to reactivate hormone production and recommended them to be practiced from the age of 35 to prevent and reduce menopausal symptoms.

 

In women younger than 35, Hormone Yoga helps to improve fertility and to remove symptoms of PMS. Over time the practice has also shown to be beneficial for most other hormonal imbalances, like Thyroid Dysfunctions, Diabetes Type 1 & 2 or Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • in cases where estrogen level should not increase e.g. severe endometriosis, fibroids/myoma or breast cancer

  • in case of any other cancer - check with your doctor

  • after a surgery

  • in case of acute psychosis

  • in case of pregnancy 

  • in case of any hormone-related disease ask your doctor for advice

  • during menstruation - some modifications will be given or you can take a break from your hormone yoga class

HOW IT WORKS

Hormone Yoga Therapy is best practiced for at least 12-16 weeks to feel its benefits. I recommend that you book a 6-class package especially as a new student to get the consistency you need to see the effects of the practice. 

 

New students:  You are advised to book a free consultation with me prior to booking the classes.  I will discuss your needs with you to assess if this course is the best fit for you. 

Returning students : You can book whichever packages suits you the most. 

HOW DO I BOOK MY CLASS

  1.  Book one of the packages below 

  2. Once you have booked the package, you have 4 or 6 credits to use within 6 weeks. 

  3. Book each class through the calendar below

CLASS DATES/TIMES 

Classes run weekly on Thursdays 6.15-7.30pm (Irish Time) 

There is no Hormone Yoga Therapy classes till September. 

 Hormone Yoga Therapy Classes will resume again mid September 2022.
