There is a special kind of magic that happens when women come together in sisterhood—when we share our stories, honour our bodies, and hold space for one another in a circle of support. Yet many of us have no experience of being held by sisterhood.

Our monthly women’s circle is a gathering of women of all ages to connect with our cyclical nature, our wisdom, intuition and to encourage and cherish the uniqueness of each and every one of us. In this space, you are welcome to show up as you are. There is no need for performance, nor masks. This is a place where all parts of ourselves are welcome. This is an invitation to have space to be yourself, be vulnerable, connect with your body, rest and feel embraced by the circle of women.

All women are welcome in this gathering regardless of age, background and where you are at in your life. YOU ARE WELCOME HERE.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Each gathering begins with a gentle grounding practice to bring us into our bodies and connect with our hearts. Afterwards, we open the circle, inviting every woman to share in her own way.

After the opening circle, we explore a theme for that month through discussion or an activity which might involve art making, movement, journaling etc. In each circle, we bring some embodiment practice such as dance as a way to connect to the wisdom of our bodies, release and express ourselves.

We close the circle by singing or dancing together or with a short relaxation to process the insights that might have come up during the circle.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Wear comfortable clothes. You are invited to wear a piece of clothing/ dress that makes you feel YOU . This is optional. The most important thing is to feel comfortable!

  • Wear layers in case we dance or spend time in stillness.

  • Bring a journal if you would like to take note of your reflections.

GUIDELINES FOR OUR WOMEN'S COMMUNITY

  • This is a non-judgemental space where we cultivate kindness, compassion, gentleness and support for ourselves and each other

  • This is not a place to give or receive advice

  • You are invited to listen deeply to everyone who is sharing. There is so much power in listening, which can support us in our own healing journey and helps us to connect on a deeper level with other women and to our collective feminine wisdom

  • We do not interrupt when someone is sharing in a circle

  • Everything that is shared in the circle stays in the circle

  • To respect everyone’s time, please arrive in the space at least 10 mins before  start time.

  • During our circles, you are invited to show up authentically, with your truth –   this space is an opportunity for you to be vulnerable, explore themes that you might not get to explore outside of the circle, explore movement in a way that is new to you.  However, you are not expected to share anything that does not feel comfortable or be someone that you are not. You are welcome to show up in the way that feels true to you.

  • Although you might not be able to join each month, the invitation is to commit to try to show up every month – that way we will be able to go even deeper.

WOMEN'S CIRCLES TESTIMONIALS

"Anna has a gentle, attentive and informative facilitation style. I loved the movement/yoga, singing, laying out the seasons of the cycle, creative play, journaling and of course sharing stories with women."

WILD HEART :

WOMEN'S RETREAT

15-17 August 2025, The Yoga Barn

An invitation to enter the realm of the heart through the spirit of community, embodiment and connection.  .

Together we will step into the wisdom of our bodies, connecting with our emotions and creating a space of trust & safety where we can show up authentically, rest, connect with ourselves and each other, dance, sing and cherish some alone time in nature. In Old English wilde means "in the natural state"  - this retreat is an invitation to connect to our truth, our inherent nature.

Throughout the weekend, we will awaken our wild hearts through yoga, dance, voice work & singing, creative expression & community connection, nature, deep rest, sauna, cold dip and plenty of opportunities to share and integrate.
