" Yoga is like a little window
that helps me see the light."
I am Laura. I’m Romanian from the heart of Transilvania. I am also a mum of a 10 year old girl. I work for a tech company as a receptionist.
I started yoga after Ireland went into lockdown due to Covid 19 back in March 2020. Due to the circumstances, my company allowed us to work from home. From the very beginning of Covid-19 restrictions, we had the blessing of getting yoga classes with Anna, an amazing and qualified teacher with a lot of passion and dedication.
After taking a few classes online, yoga turned out to be what I expected it to be.What I knew about yoga was that it can be life changing. The changes that I have observed since I started practising is my breathing and the time I dedicate to allow myself to relax. Before I started yoga, this kind of relaxation time was non-existent. My sleep was always interrupted and my thinking was very negative.
My favourite parts in yoga are:
The breathing techniques bring quiet and peace into my mind.
The physical part of yoga helps me stretch and relax my muscles that are tense during the day.
The relaxation part helps me disconnect from my distractions.
I would recommend yoga to others just because it changed my life in a very positive way. I use meditation to help me maintain a healthier lifestyle.
Before I started practising yoga I was going through a very difficult time in my life and everything I ever dreamed about crashed down. During that time, one thing worked for me, which was yoga. It was like a hand that lifted me up when I was going down, a little window that helped me see the light. At the time I didn’t know that everything was going to be ok as long as I have patience and give myself time and space to breathe and relax my mind.
I have learned that we attract whatever we desire when we ask and mediate about it.
Life its beautiful when you see its beauty.
