Yoga, Kirtan &

Community Connection

SPRING GATHERING : 

This gathering is an invitation to connect to your body, mind & heart through embodied hatha yoga, heart opening kirtan, sauna &cold dip (optional) and community connection. 

We will gather for half a day of shared practice with space to reconnect with yourself while being held by the community and the beautiful nature around. This is an invitation to gently awaken your body, heart, mind. 

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by Anna into the beautiful space at Bective Mill dome by the River Boyne where we will gather for the afternoon. Our gathering will begin with a grounding meditation followed by Embodied Hatha Yoga (weaving traditional yogic techniques such as pranayama, asana and mudra with nervous system informed practices).

 

After the Yoga practice, we will have a short break for a little snack  and community connection. In the second part of our gathering, we will connect through Kirtan (Kirtan is a is a practice that involves the communal singing of sacred mantras to open our hearts, connect to the divine nature within ourselves and experience unity among the community). We will finish with sound relaxation and sauna with cold dip in the River Boyne (optional).

SAUNA & DIP IN THE BOYNE RIVER

After our gathering, you can avail of the nearby HotBox Sauna and dip in the River Boyne | 3pm slot

The River Boyne derives its name from the legendary Celtic goddess Bóann (or Bóand). The story goes that there was once a magical well – the Well of Wisdom (Tobar Segais in Irish) – which belonged to Nechtain, King of Leinster and husband to the goddess Bóann. Nechtain was very protective of his magical well and no one but he and his three cup bearers were permitted to visit it. One day Bóann decided to visit the well and see for herself its wonders. Some say she walked around the well three times counter sun-wise, others say she merely peered into its magical depths. Whatever the case, the waters of the well rose up – blinding, mutilating and drowning the goddess – and then rushed seawards turning into a river. WHAT TO BRING

  • Comfortable clothes for yoga practice + extra layers for after the sauna etc

  • Plenty of water to drink after the yoga practice, during Kritan and sauna (there is a little cafe to buy water - open till 4pm). 

  • Tea & some snacks will be provided to enjoy after the yoga practice, please bring any additional snacks & a sandwich/food for after the sauna. If the weather allows, we can enjoy some time outdoors together before departing. 

  • For the sauna : 

    • ​Towel x 2 (1 for sitting on inside the sauna)

    • Drinking Water

    • Footwear for the water

    • Swimwear

ABOUT ANNA

Anna is a  Yoga Teacher, Women's Circle Holder and Somatic Therapist & Facilitator. Her work bridges ancient wisdom with modern embodiment practices. Anna is dedicated to creating spaces for connection, healing and community. Her approach is heart-centered and invites a gentle unraveling—an attunement to the body’s rhythms, the nervous system, and the wisdom held within the cycles of life.

GETTING THERE

You need a car to get to Bective Mill Dome & Sauna.  It is about 45-50 min drive from Dublin. 

For those coming from Dublin, there might be an option to do car pooling with other participants (availability depended and not guaranteed) . Please contact me before booking if you don't have a car.
