Asana

Asanas are yoga postures that are practised in a yoga session along with other yoga techniques (pranayama, meditation, relaxation). 

​

Originally, asana was a position that is comfortable and steady meaning a comfortable sitting position for meditation. 

​

Overtime, yogis found that certain specific body positions, asanas, open the energy channels and psychic centres.  Practising these positions allows to develop control of the body and as a result enables to control one's mind and energy. 

​

It's only through the practise of these poses, that one can realise their benefits on the physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. 

​

In this section, we will explore some of the benefits of different yoga poses.
